Access to quality capacity building and knowledge sharing across geographical, organisational and intersectoral boundaries remains a challenge in the global Sport for All movement. It is also pivotal to sustaining the movement's positive impact on society. Trainers, practitioners and organisations working on the same problems often do so without ever reaching each other.

Digital platforms offer a way to close that gap. They make it possible to build inclusive communities of practice where trainers, trainees, organisations and practitioners learn from one another, share innovations, and co-create solutions that advance Sport for All at every level of governance and leadership.

The starting point is a shift in how capacity building is understood. It is not a one-time intervention. It is an ongoing journey of professional development and peer learning that leads to organisational growth. Digital platforms and models enhance the experience of learners, let trainers work collaboratively, make peer-to-peer learning possible at scale, and give experienced practitioners a space to mentor emerging leaders.

On 24 November, the KESCAB Project partners will host a free webinar examining how organisations can use digital platforms to sustain momentum beyond single training events, build networks of practice, and make capacity building part of daily professional life rather than an episodic event.

KESCAB Online Hub

The webinar does not discuss digital capacity building in the abstract. It introduces a working platform built for the Sport for All sector.

The Knowledge, Experience Sharing and Capacity Building in Sport for All Online Hub launched in May 2026 under the Erasmus+ funded KESCAB project led by TAFISA. It is an operational response to the challenges above. The Hub brings together tools that let trainers deliver multilingual courses, run cohort-based communities, host webinars and events, and create space for ongoing peer learning and mentorship.

Attendees will see the Hub in use rather than described. The session offers concrete guidance to learners, trainers, organisations, course owners and practitioners on how to use it, followed by a panel discussion on what makes digital communities work in practice, where they fall short, and who risks being left out when capacity building moves online.

The KESCAB Online Hub is available at sportforallhub.com. Registration is open to anyone.

Who should attend this Webinar?

The webinar is open to anyone working in Sport for All: trainers and trainers of trainers, course owners, national federations, grassroots organisations, sport enthusiasts and practitioners. Attendance is free.
